• I am password protecting a page. I test accessed it on my computer in 3 different browsers, and all worked fine. A number of my clients accessed this page without any problems, but a few report that nothing happens when they enter correct password and hit submit – it still shows a page asking for password to enter. One of these clients used IE, another Firefox. I can’t interrogate clients re: version, browser, OS, etc, because these are my clients: I must provide a process that is the easiest possible for them, with smooth customer service.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

    Hi,

Does the users who can’t access the page have cookies disabled perhaps?

That is the first thing I would look into at least in these situations. No interrogation of your customers required at all, just explain to them that you are troubleshooting the issues they are having and knowing this information would greatly speed up the process in doing so ??

I figured it out for desktop: If user for whom submit button didn’t work (nothing happens) refreshes browser, submit works and access is granted.
However new problem resurfaced: On mobile (iPhone and Android), submit button seems not working, plus people can’t find how to refresh page on mobile devices.
