Password protected posts

Hey guys, I am looking for a solution for the following problem:

I have a public blog about lifestyle stuff. I want everyone to see this content.

However, I wanna have a private section where I can upload baby photos, family stuff and such things. Those should be accessible via a password. I found a solution, but people with a defined role, such as family or friends need to login and end up in the backend area.
This is not so good, since my mom does not know what to do then.

So, is there any solution where people can press a login button, enter username and password and end up in the private section of my blog?
