Password protecting categories

  • Hi

    Is there a way I could password protect some of categories? I can’t do same by protecting page, because there is too much content/sub pages. Protecting just posts would be too much work opening every protected post.

    Is there maybe any other way to password protect particular areas of site?

    Try one of the password plugins like WP-Members or Global Password.

    I am not sure you can do it for categories but you can password protect posts and pages using the privacy setting and then setting it on the individual page.

    If you do it for every post in a category then that might work.
