Password protection does not work on posts & custom post types

  • Howdy,
    I recently upgraded to WP 3.0.1, and it seems like I am no longer able to password protect posts. I also created a custom post type, and setting those to password protected doesn’t do anything except append “protected:” to the title. Funny enough, password protected pages still work.

    Does anyone have any ideas? Has anyone seen this before?
