• Hello community !

I created a blog with Twenty Twenty theme.

I have 2 pages and many posts. I try and protect the site with a password, the audience being only my partner’s family and mine.

When I try to use the password protected function on the pages and test it. The results are that it shows the word ‘Protected’ on the pages but they don’t ask for the password. If I go directly to the posts, I can still see everything. My goal is to protect the website with a single password.

Any body knows how to achieve that ?

(I have tried to insert a block with php code on top of first page and bottom of second page (to close php tag) but still no success.

I am kind of new to WordPress

Any help is much much appreciated !

Thank you so much in advance

    Eric

  • The easiest way to do this is to find a membership plugin to do that work. There are a number available via the plugin page of the wordpress site (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/). I would suggest this is the easiest way to do it.
