Password protect/Plugin help

  • I created a music website for my students. I want to create a sheet music page on my site for them so they can download/print any music homework they need (.PDF format). I also want to keep just this page password protected so only they will have access to it. I will be constantly adding new music and educational links to this portion of my site so I don’t want to have to password protect or click private for every post I make. As soon as they click the page link from the navigation bar it should ask for a password. Finally, I want to try to keep each song listed as it’s own post so I can add various links, images and mp3’s for each song. I am not looking to just make an index of hyperlinks listed on a page.

    Does anyone have any suggestions on a plugin or another way to do this?

    search the plugins repository for download managers and membership solutions. also, on a different tack, if you’re making music available ensure that if you have any copyrighted work on your site that you have the appropriate licences or if an when the music industry catches up with what you’re doing they will destroy you.
