    Hi there,

The text says: “Lost your password? Please enter your username or email address.” and I can’t see that this can be changed to just email address (no username).

If you add your username, you get a message to say that an email has been sent to email address xx with reset instructions. The email address in the message is correct however no email arrives.

If you add the email address you receive the same message as for when you enter the username, on screen, and an email does arrive.

Please could you advise how the email can be sent using the username, or let me know how to remove username from the text of the [wpum_password_recovery register_link=”yes” ] shortcode?

    Many thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @proudmama2022 ,

Regarding the email isssue not being received., I’ll recommend using SMTP(https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/) to log, and see what could be causing the issue with the email.

Then for the password recovery, you will need to customize the template called – form-password-recovery.php

But please take note that within the functionality of this template, the username is always required to find the user and recover it’s password. Hence, some in-depth customization will be needed to adjust it like how you would like it to function.

    Have a great day ahead!
