    Hi,

I recently activated PayPal on my website and a customer has highlighted to me that when trying to check out via the Checkout page on my site as a guest using PayPal, you get an error message saying:

    “Password is a required field.”

There is no password field to be completed and event when I disable account creation from the checkout page it still has the same error.

I don’t have this issue with my other payment methods and if you select the PayPal payment button from the basket, that also works fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Ben

    Hi @chariotsofthyer,

This is most likely a conflict with the login/register feature from the Astra modern Checkout.
With the Storefront theme enabled, I wouldn’t expect this behavior to occur.
The next plugin update improves the validation on the Checkout page and should resolve problems like this. Could you please give it a try with this version and let us know how this works for you?
    Thanks!

    Kind regards,
    Niklas

    Hi,

Thank you for the quick response.

I have just tested the plugin and I can confirm that it has worked.

I will keep this version installed until the next official release comes out.

    Many Thanks,

    Ben
