Hi I am hoping someone can help me please.
I have just set up a members site which contains 5,500 users. The plan was to upload all the users who in turn, would receive their invitation to join the private members forum part of our website.
However, not everyone received this invitation – in fact most didn’t.
This is where I am in a bit of a mess!! I now know the the host provider php mailer is not the way to go.
What I now want to do is email all users in one go by sending out the password reset
What is the best way to do this that guarantees everyone in the list of subscribers receives this email??
Reading up it appears I need to do this via SMTP?

With 5.500 users I should use a newsletter plugin for the emailing.
Nice formatted emails with the advantages moving to your new platform etc and the possibility to unsubscribe etc. You can achieve this with plugins like Newsletter and MailChimp

This plugin will be valuable in the future for your communication with your 5.500 users.
The plugin should send all the emails via SMTP ofcourse and the invitation letter must have a link to the Reset password page for each user.
