    Hi
I read the post and author’s reply here:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/user-registration-password-notification/ but it say’s it’s closed so I am posting a related question…
I was hoping this plugin would allow me to change the body of the password reset email WP automatically sends when I import a new user. We changed hosts for our website and have nearly 1900 subscriber role users that I need to import to the new site. Importing works, but the default text in the message they receive (“Someone has requested a password reset for the following account…”) is too vague and many people will think it’s a scam. So I want to edit the message to one that is more personalized.
I tried adding a new notification with this plugin and selected the “New User Registration – for user” template. The test email worked and looks exactly how I want it to, but when I then trigger a password reset email from the WP Users, it sends the same old default WP message.
    What am I missing?
    Thanks

    Hi @reneyoung,
    Thanks for your message.

This may only work for new users and not old users. You may need to use the ‘User Lost Password – For User’ notification instead.

How are you triggering the password reset notification? Is it via WP Admin > Users or via a plugin?
