Password reset email not being received

  • Hi,
    I have just setup wordpress and started to customize a theme. When I initially installed I saw a message reminding me to reset my password for security purposes, so I went into my profile and changed it and wrote it down. After a couple of hours of working on the website, up popped a message telling me I had been logged out and I needed to log back in to continue working. After 3 failed attempts I have had to accept that my password is incorrect – perhaps I wrote it down wrong.

    I selected the ‘forgot password’ option but no email has come through – what do you recommend? Without this email I can’t reset the password…I’m stumped.
