password reset email not received for Zoho. Gmail works.

  • Hi,
    if I try to use the “lost your password?” on the login page we don’t receive any emails to our Zoho inboxes which otherwise has been working well, but with I tested the recovery with a Gmail account it worked like charm.

    I finally got an answer from Zoho but they just asked me to “contact the wordpress server team and request the following logs:?
    1. Bounce message noticed while sending the confirmation mails to your Zoho account.?
    2. In case of no bounce, ask them to share the delivery confirmation logs for the mails sent to your account.?“

    What to do?

    if email works at all then here is nothing to do on WordPress side, the issue needs to be checked on MTA and DNS records,

    contact your webhost support if you are using managed server/hosting
