I’ve got a notification set up under User Lost Password – For User that works fine when I request the reset as the admin but when the user clicks on lost password and requests the reset from their end, they still get the default wordpress reset email. Any idea why it is not overriding?

    Hi @sakaiamerica,
    Thanks for your message.

This usually happens when another plugin, such as a membership or registration plugin replaces the default WordPress registration and is overriding the notification there instead. E.g. a front-end registration form.
Do you think this might be the issue?

I’m having the same problem. (Hope it’s okay that I’m joining this thread.)

I do have MemberPress installed, with the “Use MemberPress login page URL” option enabled.

Is there anything I can do to force the BNFW email from being invoked?

@jdcohan I don’t have a direct answer but I would guess it’s because of the custom login page. You might want to look at this support document that shows you how to fix this, albeit for the Restrict Content Pro plugin, in case it points you in the right direction. You may need a developer to help you with this: https://betternotificationsforwp.com/documentation/compatibility/restrict-content-pro/

Thank you. I’ll give that a try. In the meantime, I disabled the appropriate options for MemberPress.
