I have an issue of password reset.

From the login page that contains a shortcode of [pmpro_login], I click “Lost Password?” link and redirected to a URL with “?action=reset_pass”.

By inputting a username or email address, I click on “Get New Password” button. Then I am redirected to first [pmpro_login] page but the URL is now “/lostpassword” and the page tan title says “Page not found” And I don’t receive an email nor is one sent according to my email log.

Can anyone see how I can solve this problem?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello David,

You may have another plugin that wants to handle login actions. Plugins like BuddyPress or Theme My Login can have their way of handling password reset.

If using the PMPro login shortcode, make sure your “page” settings for log in is set to this page and not –WordPress Default–
Memberships > Settings > Pages is where you can find this setting.

When your password reset link is sent, should look more like this:
    mysite.xyz/login/?action=rp&key=xxxxxx

    Hi Kim,

Yes it was a plugin called ‘User Rgeistration’. Deactivating it fixed the issue.
