Password reset links missing v1.5.8.4

It appears that certain plain text emails (password reset) are being handled as HTML since 1.5.8.4. As such we now have a large number of sites using mailgun where users can no longer see the link in the email to their password reset page because it’s enclosed with <…>

Has been working fine up until this version release. We’re using the HTTP API for transport if that helps. Can’t really make core updates as we have around 200 affected sites.
