    Hi

    I hope you can help. My students are having problems resetting their passwords.

    Instead of being directed to the password reset page (https://www.biz-e-training.com/password-reset/), they are directed to the main page that I set (https://www.biz-e-training.com/fom-students-forum/). If you open the reset page, it shows this code but not the form: [swpm_reset_form]

    The code in the reset password email is as follows:

    Someone has requested a password reset for the following account:

    SiteName: {{blog_info}}
    Username: {{username}}

    If this was a mistake, just ignore this email and nothing will happen.

    To reset your password, visit the following address:
    <a href="{{home_url}}/{{ur_login}}?action=rp&key={{key}}&login={{username}} " target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Click Here</a>

    Thank You!

    Should I change anything in the email or the reset page? Or do I need to do something else?

    Thanks for your help

    Carl

  • Carl just to make sure, did you paste the [swpm_reset_form] shortcode in editor or in html mode?
    Try to edit the password-reset page and instead of “Editor” mode, paste the [swpm_reset_form] shortcode in HTML mode and preview the page.

    Thanks for getting back to me. I tried what you said, with the shortcode in text rather than visual editor mode, but without success, I’m afraid.

    Hi @carldowse,

    Please check whether you have selected the account page in the general options or not. You can refer to this screenshot to know which settings I mean to say. See: https://prnt.sc/s639zd

    If you have the page selected there then scroll a bit and you will see the endpoints. Change the endpoint of the lost password to forgot-password. Save the changes. And then save the permalink settings at last. You can save the permalink settings here: https://prnt.sc/s63d29

    Check after applying these changes and let me know if it works or not and I will get back to you.
    Regards!
