    Hello guys,

We are facing an strange issue after a few weeks of Edwiser bridge and WP working great.

Now whenever a user buys any of the courses, it normally send 2 registration emails with 2 different passwords (one from woocommerce template and 1 from EB template), usually one of those passwords will work for both the WP account and moodle account. Now the password generated and sent with the woocommerce email, only allows access to WP, and the password in the EB email to moodle.
I can solve the problem of mismatching password just resetting the password from WP, but it would be ideal to send just one email (from WC or EB, doesnt matter) but with the correct password that users can use both sites.

Could you please assist me with this?

    Thanks and regards.
    Mariano L.

    Hello @mariano233

I hope you are doing well.

Edwiser Bridge generates the password automatically if you do not give user the option to set the password. That is why the email gets sent with the password for WordPress.

Since you are using Woocommerce, you can provide the user to set a password of his own at the checkout page, and using that password the user can enter WordPress.

On the other hand, the Moodle password will be sent to his email address as it was happening earlier.

Go to Woocommerce — Settings — Accounts & Privacy. You will find an option there which allows the user to choose their own password at the checkout.

If you still have queries, you can directly reach us at [email protected]
