Thank for fixing the “Lost password (for user) not sending HTML mail” problem.

Unfortunately the feature can still not be used because the reset link is of wrong format. It lacks of the login URL parameter value. The parameter itself is present but left empty.

Could you please give a hint how to fix this temporarily?

    Hi Andreas,
    Thanks for your message.

I’ve just tested the notification and receive a link that looks like this:
    Password Reset Link: https://www.website.com/wp-login.php?action=rp&key=FTwiTzaarEaTnqG26bEy&login=test-user

When clicked, this allows the user to reset their password.
Is this not what you were looking for?

    Thanks,
    Jack

I’m testing this at the moment and it’s working perfectly as well.

I suspect the “Nice Login” WP plugin to be responsible for shortening the reset URL to

    Password Reset Link: https://www.website.com/wp-login.php?action=rp&key=FTwiTzaarEaTnqG26bEy&login=

    (according to voltroniks reply).

    I will investigate further.

    Hi Andreas,
    That sounds likely to me.

I think any plugin that changes the login URL to be a custom page will cause an issue with this. There’s no real way of knowing what that might be either. I will investigate a bit further in case there’s anything I can do but I can’t guarantee anything.

    Thanks,
    Jack
