I have a password which I set up Last Saturday. It is written quite plainly in my little black book and has not been tampered with or altered in any way. I have been trying to log in to my site all to no avail, a damned nuisance! It has happened to me two or three times. am now waiting for 15 minutes to pass so I can try to log in and make changes to my site. What a pain and a waste of time. Anyone know why this keeps happening please and if so, how can it be stopped???

First question, when it happened to you before, was the password actually changed to something else from what you’ve put on paper?
If yes, then you might be having some kind of keyloger on your computer, which allows someone somewhere to read what you type and then log in to your site and change password.

That is something from a plugin or your host. AFAIK WordPress has no limit on attempts to log in.

Have you tried the “Have you lost your password?” button.
