I’d like to show past events on events list page and if possible they should have the title “Past Events”.
A current or planned event should show above “Past Events”.

Currently, all past events don’t show up.

I checked the settings and found this settings to be relevant to this topic:

    – Calendar Tab:
Hide past events? – Is set to NO

    – RSVP Tab:
Hide fully booked events? – Is set to NO
Hide RSVP ended events? – Is set to NO

As far as I understand, they should show, don’t they?

    EME version 1.7.18

Check out the shortcode [eme_events] docu:
    https://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/category/documentation/6-shortcodes/eme_events/
You want to use the “scope” parameter.

    Thank you.

I understand, but isn’t it, that all shortcodes get overwritten in events page? That’s what is said in settings->events?

I guess, I’d need a setting in Format: Events settings? Where ’eme_events_list’ is being called?

You need to use the shortcode on a regular page, not the special events page.
    Read this:

I don’t get the whole range if you want to design the output on special events page, but i’d like to change it starting by showing a few past events and then change the look of output similar to this:

Can this be achieved by another page and your shortcodes?

You always need to use shortcodes, as the doc says:
“Upon first activation of the plugin, a new wordpress page is created (typically called “Events”). That page is very special. Don’t change it, don’t use it in your menu’s, don’t delete it. Just make sure the EME setting called “Events page” points to this page. EME uses this page to render any and all event or location info, bookings, maps, …. anything. So again: don’t touch it, don’t use it in your menu’s, don’t delete it.”

Must have overread this, as it just works when adding that page to menus. Thank you for direction, I’ll check shortcodes and setup a new page then. Thank you.
