Past events showing in Upcoming Events Tab

    Hi Team,

    After upgrading the plugin from 5.16.4 to 6.0.0 in the upcoming events tab all past events started showing.

    I just want to display upcoming event not past event.

    Why this is happening.

    I am using this plugin with Betterstudio Publisher theme.

    I am using upcoming event concept with wp-backery visual editor using post slider element

    attaching screenshots of before and after plugin updates.

    Plugin Version 5.16.4

    Thank you for reaching out.

    We have indeed received reports of event queries not appearing in the correct order (like what is happening with the Post Slider). Our apologies!

    Short term, I would recommend downgrading to version 6.0.

    You also might want to disable auto-updates if you haven’t already done so.

    A fix for this issue is in its testing phase. We’ll report back here when it’s released.

    But there is issue with version 6.0 also.

    I need to downgrade till version 5.6.15, then its working properly.

    Hi @prathimeshbpd, apologies for the delay here. We’re still working on this issue and we’d definitely get back to you whenever there are updates in regard to this. For now, downgrading to pre-v6.0. Please do test it out on a staging site first and always keep a working backup of your website.

    As always, we suggest?testing updates on a staging site?first, and having a recent backup, but it should all be smooth sailing. If you implemented any workarounds, you may remove them after updating.
