    Hi Josh,

When I try to paste a word or HTML text, nothing happends..

    This message appears :
“Paste is now in plain text mode. Contents will now be pasted as plain text until you toggle this option off. If you’re looking to paste rich content from Microsoft Word, try turning this option off. The editor will clean up text pasted from Word automatically.”

But how to turn this option ??

Thx in advance for this top level plugin…

    JPB

    Hello JBG,
Thank you for the kind words.

Yeah, that wording is a little ambiguous. That button is directly from WordPress; and is not added by WP Edit. I don’t have any control over the behavior of that button.

What the message is saying, is… WordPress now allows you to paste text from Word (or other sources) directly into the editor. It will run some internal functions to attempt to format the pasted text into WordPress style html.

So, if you’re trying to paste from word.. no need to turn on the “Paste as Text” mode. Simply leave it turned off.. and paste your Word content directly into the “Visual” view of the editor.

Let me know how that works for you. From what I’ve heard… results vary.
