• I am trying to create a new post (“add new post”) on my WP blog, but something has recently changed and now cannot do so.

    The “paste from word” button has stopped working. It is not grayed out, but a paste box does not pop up when the button is clicked. The “paste as plain text” button does not work either. If I cut and paste from Notepad or type directly in the text window, when the draft is saved, the text disappears. So I haven’t been able to create a new post.

    I recently updated my IE; can this be causing the problem?

    I use a PC and IE. I was happy with using IE and the “paste from word button” and hope you can give me a simple solution that doesn’t involve changing browsers or using software I don’t currently have.

    Thanks for your help.

    Temp use free firefox to see if it is a brower issue;

    If YES; downgrade to IE 8 – the proven version; 9 still being tested

    Yes, go back to IE8. IE9 does not display one of my validated blogs correctly while all other browers do. It is not ready for release as far as I know.
