• Hi all,

I’m using a password protected page, using the standard WordPress functionality.

But… I’ve read a lot about the password protected page in wordpress and I can’t say I’m 100% sure it works all the time.

Sometimes it asks me for the password, sometimes it is using my coekies or other saved data, etc… and I don’t need to enter my password to visit the page.

Is there a way (or a plugin or so) which makes me enter the password every time again? So I’m sure that only the right person on a specific pc can enter this specific page?

    Thanks,
    Vanwero.

  • maybe you can try from another browser to see if you’ll be prompted for a password. e.g. try using Chrome, Opera, Safari, Firefox.
    Should be working ok.

Yes I know… and I think when a “new” of “foreign” user wants to open the page, he will be prompted for the password.

But… on 1 office-pc where multiple users go to this website (and one already typed in the correct password) => the other users on the same pc can enter the page without a password (if the cookies aren’t deleted)

    Any solutions for this anyone?

    Greets,
    Vanwero!
