    Hi,

Is it possible to use Paid Memberships Pro to manage things but only allow billing to be done via Patreon using the “Patreon WordPress” addon? I don’t want to be responsible for chargebacks and stuff I rather Patreon handle all that and the fraud checks etc.

I know I can be charged $5-$10 by Patreon but they’ve better and more robust systems in place and better proof that the patron’s charge was legitimate compared to single-old-me.

Not to mention: 2 successful payments have occurred via Stripe but PMP has logged them as “cancelled” and no idea why? Stripe Dashboard says payment was successful and approved?

    2) I also want “Login with Patreon” only – is this possible?

    3) I still wanna allow general register (free) without forcing a membership level or do I need to make a “free” level with $0 for this?

    4) The “Displays a Log In Form for Paid Memberships Pro” block form is kinda-ugly. How can I re-style this? The Theme My Login form is styled perfectly but is this okay to still use?

Blog said to remove it (https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/frontend-login-guide-remove-theme-my-login) but using the included login form it’s ugly compared to TML’s form.

    Thanks.

    Hi @davidblood

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

It looks like the developers of the Patreon WordPress plugin support Paid Memberships Pro (https://www.patreondevelopers.com/t/patreon-wordpress-is-now-compatible-with-paid-memberships-pro/2823) – I recommend reaching out to their support for any questions regarding their integration into Paid Memberships Pro.

    2) I also want “Login with Patreon” only – is this possible?

This would require custom code or a plugin that allows for this.

    3) I still wanna allow general register (free) without forcing a membership level or do I need to make a “free” level with $0 for this?

You may use a third-party plugin or contact form that allows user registration in this case. If you want the registration to go through Paid Memberships Pro you may create a free level or use the Signup Shortcode Add On.

    4) The “Displays a Log In Form for Paid Memberships Pro” block form is kinda-ugly. How can I re-style this? The Theme My Login form is styled perfectly but is this okay to still use?

You may still use Theme My Login. If you’re staying with Theme My Login, you may set your login page under Paid Memberships Pro page settings to “Use WordPress Default” as TML will handle the redirects from their end and the page shouldn’t be set inside Paid Memberships Pro page settings.
