    Hello guys,

    I don′t know if Iam missing something.

    I just configured paypal as a gateway for doing some testings. Follow the payment gateway set up in settings. Once done I created a form. Pasted that form as a shortcode on a page. All good until this point.

    Problem comes when I want to do a test with Paypal. Enter all necessary data, press donate and Paypal screen comes up for me to login. BUT when I try to login it just don′t works at all. I have 3 Paypal accounts, and none of them could be logged in.

    Tried on incognito browser. Did the same proccess and then the real problem comes up. Paypal opens but this time displays: “We can’t complete this donation. The receiver doesn’t have a valid PayPal account.” I don′t think that′s quite true, as I tried with the other 2 emails setted up for my other 2 Paypal accounts, and still this message appears.

    Again, maybe I′m doing something wrong. But I would really appreciate any hint with this.

    This error is related to the PayPal account that’s connected in the backend of your Give settings.

    The account that you set up needs to be one of the free business accounts with PayPal. Once that’s set up you’ll place the newly created account’s email in the Give settings.

    It’s good that you’re using an incognito window to test donations as this signs you out of the backend of your site and prevents any persistent sessions.

    In addition, you’ll also want to make sure Give isn’t in Test mode when processing a donation to a live account. Here is the documentation on this as well:
