What’s the easiest way to simply pause a pop up from running? I usually end up trashing them and then restoring but there must be a more logical way.

  • Hello @arathra:

From the WP Admin screen, select ‘Popup Maker’ >> ‘All Popups’.

Move your cursor over the name of any popup that is saved on your site. Below each name are three options: ‘Edit’, ‘Quick Edit’, and ‘Trash’.

Select the ‘Quick Edit’ option. To the right of the ‘Title’ input field is the ‘Status’ label. This option has 3 settings: ‘Published’, ‘Pending Review’, and ‘Draft’.

To turn a popup ‘OFF’, simply change the status from ‘Published’ to either ‘Pending Review’ or ‘Draft’. The popup stop working on the front end. But the content and settings will be saved in the database.

When you’re ready to reactivate the popup, change ‘status’ back to ‘Published’. The popup will start working again.

Sounds like a plan – thanks!
