Pause Background Audio During YouTube Video

When a user goes to the site, a string of animations will ensue. Shortly after the main background music loops. The site doesn’t load up individual pages but rather like a parallax theme. So the music never stops.

We want to edit the coding to allow users to listen to the YouTube videos on the About and Audition pages clearly. In order to do so, we need to add a command that will pause the background music while the YouTube video is playing.

Can someone help me figure this out?
