Pause Sliders when Outside Viewport?

This is not a help request, as much as it is a feature request. I have a slider with different height slides. When the slide is out of view, it continues to run, and so continue to expand and compress the height of the page it is in. It would awesome to be able to tell slides that if they are out of view, to simply pause until they are partially back in view.
