Pay By Check gives immediate access….

    Hi
    I’ve set up Pay By Check (actually it’s the bank deposit option) but this seems to give the user immediate access to our site even before the payment has appeared in the bank. Is there a way to stop this, so they only get access once we change the order status to “Success” (and will they also be notified by email)?

    Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

    I’d recommend taking a look at our Approval Process for Membership Add On (https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/approval-process-membership/) as this will allow you to manually approve members once their payments have cleared in your bank account. You can also obtain a copy of this add on by searching for it on Github.

    Hi again,

    Just a followup question – is there a way to make the approval process only apply to Pay By Check registrations? People who pay directly via PayPal for example should not have to wait for someone to approve their account. Is this a feature I can request, or is there a hack I can make to the code to allow this?
