Pay for Order Screen Payment Button

As you can see nothing above the billing address where the payment request buttons are normally and this is on the Pay for Order page

Strange as the screenshot loads for me. However I’ve created a test order and you can check the page below

As you can see there’s no payment button above the address information, which I thought was what the new added feature would be adding. Unless I’m missing something?

Appreciate your step in creating a test order.
I checked the page and I do not see Google Pay.

I also visited the Checkout page and Google Pay is not visible there either.

Could you check and confirm if you can see it from your end?
A screenshot will be helpful.

At this point, I suggest setting up a staging site.
This will allow you to perform a full conflict test and find out the root cause of the issue.

The button appears on checkout and basket as well as product pages it’s the new “feature” of having it on the Pay for Order page which it doesn’t. Is the ECE actually fully live yet? I couldn’t see any option to turn it on or has it just replaced the PRB option??

Deactivate all extra plugins and switched to Storefront the button doesn’t appear so there’s no conflict it just doesn’t work!

This might help me understand if there is something I am missing.

The feature “Add support for the new Stripe Express Checkout Element on the pay for order page” is live with version 8.8.0.

Once I have more information, I will be in a better position to assist you further.
