Pay in Store with Self Ordering

  • Hi there, My site corresponds to a brick and mortar store that is about to open our second location. Currently we use a POS system that’s integrated with WooCommerce and tracks inventory and sends orders to our device. Our idea for the second store is to have a page on our site that customers can go onto, add things to their cart, and then click ‘Pay at Register’ or something similar where our cashier sees the order and checks them out. I’m not too sure the best way to achieve this, so I wanted to ask the forum if there’s any way to create a second cart or something like that where it only has the pay at register option, but people in other states could still place pickup orders. The other issue is we’re a CBD store and some WooCommerce plug ins are not available to us.

    You might investigate the Local Pickup extension. It sounds very similar to your described need. It may not be a perfect fit, but could maybe serve as a base for further customization. I don’t know about their terms regarding CBD products. You’ll need to confirm that if you want to use this extension.
