Hi @govisola
Thank you for opening a new thread in the PayPal forums. We can continue where we left off in the previous thread.
I know about this guide to activate the pay later button. I am in Germany but my website is all in Italian.. Should I follow the Italian guide or the German guide?
I originally shared the guide for Italy, considering the site was in Italian ?? you told me you were in Germany after that, so I shared the guide for Germany. However, the one to follow would ultimately depend on where your store is located. Which country did you set as the address in your WooCommerce > Settings? You’ll want to follow the guide for that country!
In addition, I wanted to ask: on my dashboard, I have a message that says “Apple Pay is not available on your PayPal seller account.” and “Google Pay is not available on your PayPal seller account.” check the message here. However, if you go into my store and pick a product like this one you see on the desktop the Google Play button, and on mobile you see both Apple and Google Play buttons.
The message you see in your dashboard comes from your PayPal plugin, whereas the Google and Apple Pay buttons showing up on your products come from your WooPayments plugin. Those are two different payment processors, and both offer support for Google and Apple Pay. Your products are currently showing Apple Pay and Google Pay from the WooPayments plugin.
Regarding why you see the errors on your dashboard from the PayPal plugin:
I wanted to ask if you can check why my dashboard says “Apple Pay is not available on your PayPal seller account.” and “Google Pay is not available on your PayPal seller account.”
Those point to your PayPal account not having Google and Apple Pay available. You would have to ask PayPal about this. Considering you already have those payment options from the WooPayments plugin, I’d simply ignore those!
Why on the desktop version there is no Apple Pay button?
Please also note that Apple Pay is available for all countries supported by WooPayments, but Apple Pay will only appear for customers who use an eligible device with an active Apple Wallet. When I tested this on desktop I used a Windows laptop with the Chrome browser, that’s why Apple Pay didn’t show up there.
I hope this clarifies things!
