Had a few calls from customers this morning who were unable to place an order. I tested myself in a browser with cache deleted and also WordPress cache and found that nothing happens after selecting the ‘Place Order’ button.

Upon further investigation and after disabling the Amazon Pay Gateway plug-in the button started working. The issue appears to be with the recent Amazon Pay plug-in which I updated last night. The version which seems to break this is 1.10.0. I was running 1.9.1 before which appeared to work just fine.

All plug-ins and WordPress are updated to the current latest versions.

I would be grateful if this could be looked into.

    Kind regards

    Steve.

    Hi there,

I tested 2 orders on my site paying with the Stripe Payment Gateway, 1) with AmazonPay version 1.9.0 and 2) with the most recent version 1.10.0 and both were successful with the AmazonPay gateway enabled.

What payment gateway were your customers trying to use when checking out?

Are there any fatal errors showing around the time that the orders were trying to be placed? You can find this by going to WooCommerce>>Status>>Logs and checking for fatal errors logged in the dropdown box on the top right of the page.

If you require further assistance with this, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Tickets. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

I have the same problem. i had contact to woocommerce support, they said i must whitelist my domain by amazon.

i have deactivated all of my plugins on my testsite. nothing. when i deactivate amazon pay i can make a order. with 1.9.1 it works too.

Where is now the real problem?

    Hi Amanda,

Thanks for your reply, I cannot see any fatal errors at the time. I am attempting to pay using WooCommerce Stripe Gateway v4.2.0.

@michael1309 I have reviewed Amazon settings and cannot see any whitelisting options. MWS integration has ben setup and keys look fine.

    Kind regards

    Steve

Hi Stepfaul, i also cannot see any whitelist options. This told me the woocommerce support. I think this is a problem with the new version of the plugin. if you get a fix for this problem, i would thank you.

    Michael

    Hi there @stepfaul and @michael1309,

The latest Amazon Pay 1.10.0 does break the checkout for EU and UK merchant accounts. This bug is reported as a critical one and is being actively worked on.

Please either rollback to the previous version of the plugin or disable the gateway until a new version is released. You can keep an eye on the changelog – https://dzv365zjfbd8v.cloudfront.net/changelogs/woocommerce-gateway-amazon-payments-advanced/changelog.txt

    Cheers!

Still breaks checkout button with Version 1.10.1 for me

I have just upgraded to v1.10.1 and all seems OK now. I was able to process a Stripe credit card payment whilst the Amazon plug-in was enabled, this previously failed when using v1.10.0

    Thanks for the swift fix.

    Steve.
