I am doing pro bono for a 501(c)3 and want to create a Book of Honor. People would pay $25, get a profile page to upload a photo and bio material. The photo with a name would go in a display grid for public view with a link to the profile page of the honored person. New profile creators would pay via PayPal, get a link to create a profile, and submit.

What, if any, plugins would do this? I don’t even know how to ask to do a search because I don’t know what to call that which I want to do.
    thanks

  • Well, if I’m not wrong, you’re going to create a social platform where members will have to pay for creating a profile (premium profiles), right?
If yes, then you can use BuddyPress plugin to do this. If you have more questions, you may ask to the reply.

    Cheers!

    Okay, thanks for the info.
Let me see if I have this right.

    I install BuddyPress.
I create the design of the site using Divi, I create the design of the profile page with Divi/BuddyPress.

“Jorge” comes to my site, decides he wants to honor his father.
    He pays $25 using PayPal.
He gets access to a profile form which he fills out with information and a photo.
    He submits.
He sees his father’s page of honor.

Later, when someone, including Buddy, comes to the main URL of the Honor Site, they see a grid with 100 or more fathers and brothers thumbnails with names under them.
They click on one, it happens to be Jorge’s father, and then they are taken to the profile page and read all about him.
Then they go back to the main grid and repeat this process as often as they like.

Is that what I can do with BuddyPress?
Do I need anything else besides BP?

Thank you, Abul, for your wilingess to help.
