Payment Element and Allowed Cards

    Hi!

    I am looking for restricting the allowed cards when Payment Element is configured. When Payment Element is configured, the “Credit Card” tag does not allow any changes. Thus, all cards are allowed. However, when selecting “Card Element”, one can restrict the accepted cards. I would have expected that Payment Elements still allows the merchant to choose the payment methods, including the accepted/allowed cards.

    Any simple snippet? Or is that functionality being implemented?

    Hello @josssv,

    Currently, our plugin does not support restricting allowed cards with the Payment Element; this feature is only available with the Card Element.

    Stripe has introduced this functionality for the Payment Element in their beta version, but it is not yet available to all users.

    We will implement this feature once Stripe releases it more broadly. For further details, please refer to the documentation: https://docs.stripe.com/payments/customize-payment-methods#filter-card-brands.
