    Hello,

    Around Dec 9th, our online orders with Square and WooCommerce have been failing. These are the errors that we are seeing:

    Square Payment Failed (Status code UNAUTHORIZED: This request could not be authorized.) Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.

    Square Payment Failed (Status code UNAUTHORIZED: This request could not be authorized.)

    Square Payment Failed (Status code BAD_REQUEST: INTENT_MISMATCH) Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.

    Square Payment Failed (Status code BAD_REQUEST: INTENT_MISMATCH)

    I have tried disconnecting Square and re-connecting but that didn’t solve the issue.

    Version 3.9.2

    WooCommerce Square
    Version 2.1.0

    What steps should we take to fix this?

  • I had the same problem. What i did was roll back the Square plugin to version 1.0.37. Then I installed the Easy Updates Manager plugin to keep it from automatically updating to 2.1.0… Woocommerce Square support has not given me a solution that makes 2..1.0 work…

    Hello @stormlux

    It looks like we missed this one for quite some time. I see quite a few payment errors there. Can you please let us know if you managed to get those resolved, or if you’re still seeing the same problem with payments?

    If you’re still seeing the errors, can you please get back to us with:

    1. System Status Report:

    You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
    Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    2. Square payment logs:

    To get them, you’ll first need to enable them at WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Square

    Once enabled, you can make a test order, and if you see payment errors, please get back to us with the logs you’re seeing under WooCommerce > Status > Logs > Search for Square payment logs and copy-paste them as a response to this thread.

    Please redact any personal information from the logs before sharing it here
