    Hi,

    I’m having an issue where in the payment/checkout area, there’s no box to enter card details. See one-time donation example here and monthly donation after “Use a new payment method” is clicked here.

    Previously I had the abbreviated style with just the donation amount, frequency, and button in the footer. Once the button was clicked, the full form would appear and the same issue with the cards would occur – I thought it may have to do with having 2 forms on the page (the one in the footer would say “only one donation form per page is allowed”). But now I’ve replaced the footer form with a link to the referenced page where the shortcode is in a WP shortcode block.

    I don’t have this issue when processing club dues payments as Woocommerce subscriptions – only when attempting to test the donation plugin. I do have “Enable payments via saved cards” on in WC settings, as I would like to capture recurring donations/subscription payments.

    Any ideas as to what may be causing this and how to resolve the issue? Thanks so much!

    Hi, if I see this correctly, the checkout works via Style 4 (https://rotaractbhm.org/checkout/?postid=1375). And only the checkout via the other styles is affected. You use WooCommerce Payments as your payment method, right? Could you please check if the normal Stripe plugin works (WooCommerce Payments actually uses also Stripe internally)?
    I will definitely take a closer look at this incompatibility and try to fix the problem.

    Hey Jonas,

    Thanks for the swift reply. I tried switching the shortcode to style 4 and it’s still giving the same issue. If the user attempts to “Submit Order” after selecting “Use a new payment method”, the page reloads and gives an error message at the top (“Invalid payment method. Please input a new card number.”) and the card details field is then visible.

    I am using Woocommerce Payments – from what I remember, I can’t use the regular Stripe plugin since we signed up the account through Woocommerce Payments.

    Do you have any other suggestions for a temporary workaround while still using your plugin? Otherwise we may have to switch to another free plugin with fewer features for now (as far as I found, yours was the only free one that allows for recurring donations). Thanks again!

    Is that working for you as a temporary workaround?
