Payment Method/ Gateway Issue

Hello,

WooCommerce does not have the ability to make payments by itself, this is the work that payment gateways should do.

My recommendation is to first reach out to the payment gateway support, they will be able to provide you with more information and troubleshoot steps if necessary.

I have already complained to the payment gateway support. So I was hoping to collect payments with cash on delivery until the issue is resolved. Therefore I enabled the Cash on Delivery option, but it keeps saying the same thing.

Could you please disable the Onepay payment gateway temporarily and check whether Cash on Delivery works or not? The settings of that payment gateway could be interfering with WooCommerce. While you wait for support from Onepay, let us know what you find doing this.

I have already checked it but it’s still the same. I can’t use COD for international customers but I can use it for customers in my country. Therefore, please help me to solve this issue.

When you’re saying you’re using COD do you mean the default Cash on delivery method in WooCommerce > Settings > Payments?

Can you just leave enabled the Cash on delivery payment method and disable all other methods? Before trying that please disable all plugins (except WooCommerce) and temporarily switch the theme from Astra to Storefront.

We also would like to take a look at your System Status. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

I have tried the way that u explained here, yet it’s not working. So I restore it to the previous theme. I accidentally enabled the check payment and then it shows in the site checkout but Cash on Delivery is still not showing. I activated the Direct Bank transfer method too, and it also works properly, but the COD and the “onepay payment gateway” were still not working. Can it be a problem with my hosting service?

In it, I can see you have activated the WooCommerce Smart COD: by woosmartcod.com – 1.6.1 on your site. Since it is a Cash On Delivery plugin, it might be interfering with the COD core option of WooCommerce.

Please try deactivating that plugin and check if the COD option now appears.

If not, you could try a conflict test to know if a conflict between WooCommerce and your theme, or a plugin could be occurring.

You can perform a conflict test by temporarily switching your theme back to Storefront, disabling all plugins except WooCommerce, and then check again if the issue persists.

If that solves it, reactivate the theme first and check again. Then, reactivate your other plugins, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

If you cannot perform a conflict test on your live site, we recommend creating a staging site using the WP Staging plugin.

You can check with your hosting provider to be sure if is not something from their end.

Otherwise, could you please navigate to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and from the dropdown on the right side, please see if there are any logs starting with the words fatal-error? Please let us know what you find.

Sorry for asking this again, to clarify, was the test conflict performed completely, I mean were all plugins deactivated? (except for WooCommerce).

The error log provided is showing errors related to Facebook for WooCommerce Was the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin deactivated as well when performing the test?

I performed the conflict test in the Stagging Site which you’ve described above.

Facebook for WooCommerce was shown on the Original Site, not in the Stagging Site

Okay! I found the issue. The issue was “WOOCS – WooCommerce Currency Switcher” plugin. After deactivating it all the payment methods were shown as usual. Thank you for the support.
