Payment method restriction for coupons (woocommerce)

  • Hell, I am using WooCommerce Extended Coupon Features FREE to set payment method restrictions for coupons, I am using Paytm and stripe payment methods on my website and I set coupons only for the Paytm payment gateway. if we apply a coupon code on the cart page it gets applied but when we accidentally remove the coupon code from the cart page or select stripe and go back to Paytm and apply the coupon code it doesn’t work, this is driving me nuts, any help would be appreciated.

    Well, when removing the coupon it’s obvious that it won’t work anymore, but you can disable removal of auto coupons from our plugin’s settings page.

    About the issue that the coupon won’t return after changing from one payment method to another and then changing back, that’s not what should happen. Could you please send me an url + instructions to reproduce this issue in your store? What are the settings of that coupon?

    Actually I could fix this, cache plugin was creating this issue, I used light speed cache plugin and I want to activate the plugin back on, is there any option to remove Payment method restriction for coupons (woocommerce) from being cached by light speed cache plugin so that I can use both the plugins without having any issues.

    I don’t use LiteSpeed cache, so I’m not sure. I assume LiteSpeed doesn’t cache the cart / checkout page, this would be a no-no.

    You could try disabling JS inlining / combining to see if maybe this causes the issue. Otherwise maybe it has to do with server side object caching, but I don’t know how LiteSpeed works, so I can’t help you with that.
