Payment Method Tab from My Account disappears when selected

I have the “Woocommerce stripe gateway” enabled. Any pointers are appreciated.

Are you referring to this add payment method button in the My Account area?

This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:
?

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

I think Justin means the actual My Account menu Tab for Payment Methods disappears when you go to the Payment Methods page. I am having the same issue. It doesn’t happen when you go to other pages e.g. Orders.

Could you both provide a screenshot of the tabs that are missing for you? You can upload the image to an image sharing program and provide the link in your response. Please make sure to blur out any personal details that should not be made public such as logins or passwords or other financial information.

Thanks for the screenshot @justinrains – were you able to do the plugin/theme conflict test that Amanda explained above.That is often the cause of dashboard issues.

If you’ve deactivated everything except for WooComemrce and Stripe and still do not see that option, Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

I have the same issue about “payment methods” navigation on “my account” page. Payment Method menu disappears when it is clicked or active.

I am also experiencing this same issue:
When a User visits the “My Account” page, then goes to the “Payment Methods” tab, it disappears from the My Account Navigation menu when the page is visited.

Hi alexmustin,

I had the same issue while using the payment method by stipe. I figured out the issue. If you want to show the “Payment Methods” menu when it is clicked or active then you have to enable “Enable Payment via Saved Cards”
