    I’ve just launched a website using the WooCommerce Square plugin. Orders are going through, however, even though the Transaction Type is set to ‘Charge’ payments are still requiring manual capturing leaving orders ‘On Hold’

    Has anyone else had a similar issue?

    I can understand your concern you have set the transaction type as charge and still require a manual capturing. I will happily assist you in fixing that issue.

    Before troubleshooting the issue please make sure following requirement are fullfill.

    • The shop location must be in a supported country:?Square can only accept transactions from the following countries:?US, CA, UK, AU, IR, ES, FR, and JP.
    • Site currency must match your Square account currency:?Square and WooCommerce must be set to the same currency to use the gateway.
    • SSL certificate:?To use the Square payment gateway, you must have an SSL certificate installed on your site.?Click here to learn more about SSL certificates.

      If you still face that issue, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:
    • System Status Report?which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
    • Fatal error logs?(if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs
