    Hi – using version 2.10.4, and WP version 6.3.2

    I have set up everything correctly (i think) and tested with a LIVE account and seen money transfer instantly. The funds leave my personal account and show in the business account, which is great. IPN is set correctly, as well as all other PayPal bits, and I know things work as I’ve
    a – had confirmation
    b – seen money leave my account
    c – seen money arrive in other account
    d – seen transaction in PayPal
    e – can access restricted areas in site with new account.

    So I am really confient that things are working. However, within an hour of setting the site live, my first subscription is now just sitting as Payment Pending. Within the IPN area of PayPal I can see all my IPNs with transaction details, but even though all IPNs show as sent, there are no transaction ID’sfor this new cusotmer.

    I’m concerned that
    a – user now has free access to site
    b – will we get the funds?

    Please can you point me in the right direciton.

    Hi there,

    a – user now has free access to site.

    Please allow me to explain how our plugin works: The user account has to be created before we can send the user to the payment gateway.

    This helps you keep a list of potential users that tried to subscribe to your website and you can contact them to ask what happened. Maybe they just encountered an issue and you can help.

    This also lets users Retry payments if they failed initially. To do so, they need to login and visit a page with the [pms-account] shortcode.

    And regarding the content restriction:

    If the payment does not go through, it is then set to pending, and the subscription plan membership is also set to pending. So content that is restricted only to that subscription plan will not be available. You need to restrict the content based on the subscription plans.

    b – will we get the funds?

    Could you please go to the Dashboard -> Paid Member Subscriptions -> Payments page, hover your mouse cursor over one of the pending payments, and click the Edit Payment link that appears? Once you are on the Edit Payment page please take a screenshot of the Payment Logs and send it to me.
