Customers to my website https://partybag.ie could not complete purchase if billing and shipping addresses were different. I had to ring these customers once I saw their payment attempts fail.

When the new version of Woocommerce Stripe Gateway (3.1.3) was rolled out a week ago, I was hoping that it would address this glitch. However, every order I receive now has the billing and shipping addresses the same and I’m getting gaps in my order numbers.

I suspect that the people using different billing and shipping address still can’t process their payment but now I can’t see that they are not and I’m losing out on a lot sales.

The theme I’m using is Storefront 2.1.8.

Can anyone help me with this as I’m not a technical person? Appreciate any assistance.

    Hi there!

So sorry for this problem. Is this issue only affecting Stripe? If you use another payment method (for instance, a test transaction with the Cash On Delivery payment method), does the issue persist?

If you go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping Options, is it possible you have “Force shipping to the customer billing address” selected under “Shipping Destination?”
