Payment reminder

I tried sending the payment reminders, this is the message that was received:
A balance is outstanding on your event registration fees. Please pay to complete your registration process.: ?id=2&fname=Neil
Is there supposed to be a link to pay? How would I add that? Is there a way to fix the code error?
