This is a fresh install. When I purchase tickets, the Payment status shows as “Pending”

    – Payment goes through Paypal fine
    – Paypal IPN shows “&payment_status=Completed”
    – Payment Status is PENDING in payments
    – Therefore email/receipt/ticket is NOT sent
    – Still marked as an ACTIVE CART in payments

If I Modify the Payment and manually change the Payment Status to “Completed” and Update, then “Thanks for your purchase” email is sent to the customer and the “New ticket purchase” email is sent to the seller, with the message “Your ticket information will be available once your payment is completed.”

No email with tickets is sent or received. The Payment status now shows as completed.

    Please advise, thank you.

As an aside, is there a means to perhaps re-send tickets that may have been lost by the customer?

What is the HTTP status code shown by Paypal IPN history?

And yes, you can re-send tickets – there’s a checkbox in the Payment page for ‘re-send email notification”.

OK, so that tells me that the IPN is not being rejected by My Tickets. But it doesn’t mean that the IPN is being handled by your server, unfortunately – just that your server loaded a page of some kind. If your server *ignored* the notification from PayPal, it would also return HTTP code 200.

If you disable all plugins & switch to a default theme, then have PayPal re-send the IPN, does that change anything? (You’ll want to test this with a payment record that you haven’t already manually changed the status on.)
