payment status problem

but for pay by check mood this issue happens again, that exactly after clicking on buy button, the payment status changes to success and there is not need to fill the check info…

Both pay by check method and custom gateway (zarinpal that i linked above) has this issue.

In pay by check method, As soon as click on submit button to pay, the confirmation page appears and when i check the order status, it is success.

But it should be in pending status untill customer pay by check and send the bill info to change the status to success…

And in custom gateway this issue exsist too, that when i click on submit button and redirect to payment page in bank, the order status change to success! Meaning before the payment transaction occur, the membership is active!

Thank you for the feedback. I have tested the pay by check add-on (on it’s own), it works as intended.

The user shows as an ‘active membership’ on the members list but inside ‘Memberships’ > ‘Orders’ the user’s order shows as ‘pending’ and does not have access until you approve the order.

Please can you disable all other payment gateways and test this with Pay By Check add-on only?

Please can you contact the Zarinpal development team regarding the status, as they each payment gateway is different and some gateways create the user’s account before redirecting to the paywall, others create the user’s account only after successful checkout.

I hope this helps. Please let me know about the Pay By Check only test to see if the user’s order gets approved immediately.

I tested again and the issue exsist yet.
how can i disable all other gateways? i have only zarinpal gateway and disabled it and tested only by pay by check , the issue happens again and it has problem…

Please disable the Zarinpal plugin from your WordPress dashboard and ensure there is only Pay By Check enabled. This way you can test the Pay By Check on it’s own.

As I said, I disabled zarinpal gateway and only activated pay by check, but unfortunately as i sent the order image, the status of order changes to success exactly after clicking on submit button and before the bill info inserted by user and manually i change the order status to success .

And one more thing i realized, when i activate zarinpal gateway and click on membership level submit button, when goes to paywall and before the payment happens, the status of order set as success, but the member is not added to member list and has not that membership yet, but in reports page, the Sales and Revenue of this memberships order calculated and shows there…!

I tested the issue with another site, and instantly after installing the paid memberships pro, and setting the payment method to pay by check, finally tested the issue, after clicking the submit button, in orders page, the status is “success”…!
I didnt install zarinpal plugin and with default settings tested the issue…i kindly ask you to help me to resolving this problem…
I saw the link you got to me, and realized that the support forum is only for paid members!
so i kindly ask you to check my problem that why the status of order change to success before the payment confirm in both pay by check and zarinpal plugin…!

Would you mind telling me what version of PMPro you are currently using?

Unfortunately this seems to be an issue that is beyond WordPress forum support and may require login credentials to resolve this issue for you, this is why I mentioned that you may need to reach out to our support team on the https://www.paidmembershipspro.com forums.

Please can you let me know what plugins you currently have installed and if there is any customization done to Paid Memberships Pro so I may try and recreate this issue on my end.

Thanks for your screencast, as i saw in video, you selected a level in not logged in mode, please check submiting a level as logged in, that dont need to register for a account and only submitting a level to exsisting member( and please create a user with default wordpress members page).

And about customization done to paid memberships pro, should say that as i said in last post, i didnt change any setting of pmpro and didnt apply any PMPro customization in new site, and only changed the payment method to pay by check…

I’m using 1.9.2.2 version of plugin…

Thank you for the feedback, I tested this while being logged in as the account from the video and changed levels. It still shows as ‘pending’. I am unable to recreate this issue you are experiencing.
