    hi there,

I’m using the free version of the plugin and set up euro and dollars as main currencies. If my store’s main currency is set up in euro, does it mean that when clients select USD I will get paid in USD in my stripe account? and it will be converted in Stripe into euro? Not sure to understand how this works.

As my accounting should be made in euro, I’m looking for a solution that allows me to create invoices in euro only, but clients should be able to see a price in dollars upon checkout. Is it possible?

    thanks for your help

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

If you enable “Pay in many currencies,” you’ll receive payments in any currency via Stripe. However, showing prices in USD while invoicing in EUR isn’t entirely possible. We can set the customer’s currency to USD and checkout currency to EUR, but EUR will still show at checkout.

If you’re open to this solution, you can show USD to all customer using “Auto select currency” in Location settings – enable “Currency by Country” and select all countries for USD/no countries for EUR. Then disable “Pay in many currencies” in Checkout settings.

This way, customers see USD, but payments are made in EUR.

    Best regards.
