Like other users, I followed the instructions to reconnect to Stripe and Enable the new checkout experience.
Unfortunately, the new checkout does not work, and the logs have the error:

Error: The information for creating and confirming the intent is missing the following data: payment_method.

I enabled the legacy checkout and it worked again. I’m not the only one with this issue so there’s obviously an problem which needs to be resolved in the plugin.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @marcusig,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I understand you’re facing an issue after re-authenticating your WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway and using the new checkout experience.

In order to troubleshoot this issue further, I suggest you try the steps below:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing the conflict.?You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

I hope that helps! Let us know how this goes.
