Paypal and Auto Insert data Issues… and something things to consider

    So far 2 things I noticed:

    1. The Auto insert data section does not update the “Choose a Sport” drop down menu.

    2. For Paypal, I have not found a way to edit the cost of points besides the shortcode… Would it be possible to have this on an admin webpage to easily edit?

    Another thing to consider is when there is an active bet, you are still able to purchase more points. Should you have to wait until the bet is over, you lose the points, and then are able to purchase more? Example is I bet all my points and have “0” left. I am now able to purchase more points, before finding out the result of my bet.

    A question to the developers- Is this plugin actively being worked on with scheduled updates? And how often/will we see an update?

    From a user endpoint, the way the bets are listed can look a little confusing and very block-y with a ton of nesting. Not easy on the eyes but it does get the point across.

    1. What do you mean by “does not update the “Choose a Sport””? When you choose a sport, it updates the list of events so you see only the events that sport has.

    2. The cost of points is updated via the shortcode only because this is giving you the flexibility to sell different amount of points for different prices (fe 0-50 points could cost $1 per point, 51-100 points could cost $0.5 per point etc.) There could be a default value in the admin dashboard which could be overwritten but that could be very confusing so I am not sure if this will be implemented.

    You are right that the users now are able to spent all their points and instantly purchase more. In the next update a feature to prevent this will be implemented.

    An update will be released approximately once every month. Reported bugs will be fixed, and all good suggestions for new features (as the one in the previous paragraph) will be implemented.

    We can agree for what you said about the [betpress_bettings] shortcode and that’s why there is the [betpress_featured] shortcode which contains less information. We are open for suggestions which could improve the [betpress_bettings] shortcode but the solution has to fit everyone’s needs. Otherwise we are implementing features as someone’s specific need as an additional paid customization.
